PTI PRESS RELEASE

Chairman PTI, Imran Khan, today condemned the arbitrary strong arm tactics of the. Government when it used the Competition Commission to raid the PBA office in Karachi yesterday, 6th January, without any warning or notice. The unethical confiscation of the PBA data and immediate flying it out to Islamabad. This is clearly aimed at intimidating the media and penalizing it for its coverage of the PTI Azadi March and Dharna and exposing the government's use of advertising to block this coverage - which failed. The Chairman made clear that PTI will not allow such intimidation and fascist tactics by the govt to mute the independent media.
